
Carl Leeman is the Chief Risk Officer of the Katoen Natie group of companies.
Katoen Natie is operating on a worldwide level as a logistic and engineering supplier to the automotive-, petrochemical-, fine chemical, consumer goods, and the food and feed industry in 28 countries in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Africa.
The group has also extended stevedoring operations and is active in the conservation and storage of Art for both Museums and private collections.
Worldwide the privately owned group of companies employs some 18.000 people and has the equivalent of more than 1200 soccer fields of state-of-the-art storage space.
Carl Leeman his responsibilities are amongst others commercial operational contracts, legal issues, claim handling, safety, security, insurance, and environmental management.
He does coordinate those on a global basis.

He is vice president of Belrim (Belgian Risk Management Association),
He is Previous Board member of FERMA (European Risk Management Association) and is Chairman of IFRIMA (International Federation of Risk Management Associations).
He wrote several articles in Newspapers and Magazines.
He addressed national and international conferences and has teached in several Risk Management and Crisis Management programs.
He Studied at the Nautical College in Antwerp, and holds degrees in
Risk Management, Marketing, Forwarding, and Insurance Brokering.
