The Judging Process
At Captive Review, we are committed to maintaining absolute fairness, integrity, and transparency across our entire awards program. Each year, we assemble a fresh panel of independent, external judges carefully selected for their deep and diverse expertise in the captive insurance space.
Judges are grouped and assigned exclusively to categories aligned with their direct market knowledge, ensuring total impartiality. Each submission is evaluated rigorously through a structured numerical scoring matrix supported by comprehensive written justifications. Selected categories will also proceed to a final judges’ review meeting to determine the 1× Winner and 1× Highly Commended honorees.
This meticulous evaluation ensures the awards genuinely honor exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and innovation across the global captive industry.
All Winners and Highly Commended entrants remain strictly confidential until revealed live at the gala ceremony in Chicago on June 23, 2027.
