The Judging Process

At Captive Review, we’re committed to maintaining fairness, integrity, and transparency in our awards process. Each year, we assemble a fresh panel of independent, external judges carefully selected for their diverse expertise in the captive insurance space. 

Judges are grouped and assigned to specific categories that align with their market knowledge, ensuring impartiality. They evaluate each submission thoroughly, scoring them through a numerical system and providing detailed justification. Certain categories will then this year, also be subject to a judges meeting during which the final decision as to the 1 x Winner and 1 x Highly Commended places will be made.

This rigorous process ensures that the awards truly reflect excellence and leadership in the captive insurance industry. 

All Winners and Highly Commended entrants will remain confidential until they are revealed at the glitter awards ceremony in Chicago on June 10th.
