Sammi is currently the Senior Financial Analyst for Deere and Company within their risk management department. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management and Finance from Ball State University and holds the Associate’s in Captive Insurance (ACI) designation from the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE). She has been in the corporate risk management industry for about eight years, five of those working with captives. Before joining Deere in 2022, she worked for Cummins Inc. for the last nine years. At Cummins, she had experience in property and casualty commercial renewals, database management and analytics, accounting, as well as captive operational, governance and financial management. In her current role with Deere, she is supporting financial reporting and strategic growth opportunities for their extended warranty business, as well as global cross-functional captive insurance projects. Sammi is an active member of the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) and the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA).
