Dr. Nir Kossovsky is CEO of Steel City Re, a reputation risk insurance intermediary and risk advisor. Combining quality management concepts with behavioral economics and finance, he developed Steel City Re’s parametric technology, which enables a suite of products and services including reputation risk oversight, strategic risk mitigation, parametric insurance, and equity arbitrage.

Previously, he founded the Patent & License Exchange, was tenured faculty at UCLA; and Deputy Coroner in LA. Nir has degrees in philosophy of science, business, and medicine, and certificates in colloid chemistry and national security decision making. He holds several patents. Off-hours, he is a mixologist.
