Meet Our Host
Canadian Sean began his comedy career at home in Vancouver after working as child counsellor on the psychiatric unit at a local hospital. Since then he’s moved to the UK and carved a comedy career based around his laid-back delivery of tales and observations from his life.
With his relaxed, gravely drawl, Sean takes a sardonic look at love, life in the UK, and being burgled as showcased in his appearance on Michael McIntryre’s Comedy Roadshow.
After a decade in the UK, Sean is now firmly established as a club and comedy festival favourite. He’s a regular at the London Comedy Store and his Edinburgh shows frequently gain critical and audience praise, including ‘Best of the Fest’ accolades.

The Venue
Cercle Cité is an exceptionally elegant venue. The Grande Salle (main hall) is the architectural jewel where the footsteps of eminent guests can still be heard, among them Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of Denmark or the French president François Mitterand. With its period chandelier, its elegant decorative mouldings and its unblocked views of the place d’Armes, the Grande Salle takes visitors on a trip down in history. There is no doubt this will be a prestige and memorable event.
