Marcus joined the Knauf Group in October 2018. He is Managing Director of the in-house broker with global responsibility for all lines of insurance. Additionally he serves as a Director for their two re/insurance companies in Luxembourg and the USA. Before that Marcus was Managing Director of Merck KGaA’s in-house broker as well as Director of two Merck owned captives in Luxembourg and the USA. In total, he is more than 20 years in charge of international insurance programs and captive initiatives for multinational corporations. His main tasks are the implementation of a global insurance strategy and state of the art risk financing options
